King Aero Aviation Specialties Inc.

All the photos on our site are aircraft we have rebuilt recovered or repaired
King Aero Inc. was formed in 1991 offering A&P and restoration services. While I specialize in tube and fabric repairs, restorations and recovering, I have over 40 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of all kinds of aircraft. Light twins, complex single engine, Cessna, Piper and Beechcraft , all the way to LSA and Ultralights, I have worked on most makes and models. I only offer engine service on reciprocating engines.

I started as an aviation apprentice when I was 12 years old. In high school I overhauled an aircraft engine (A-65 Continental), while all the other power mechanic students were working on cars. I soloed at 16 and had my private at 17. I built my first home built while still in high school..... it actually flew and I am here to tell about it!

I learned how to do covering during my teenage years. I worked with Ray Stits each summer in his booth and tent at the EAA Annual Convention
in Oshkosh Wisconsin, from the time I was 14 until the age of 19. I covered the EAA Biplane that resides in the EAA Museum in Oshkosh. I have covered some 25+ aircraft over the years not counting the individual parts and repairs in between.

I also specialize in servicing the French built Rallye MS series. Yes we have metric tools and Franklin engines don't scare us!
